A CHIC MIRROR

1/2 Before
I was on an outing to one of my favorite thrift stores and I saw this mirror that I knew could be great!  Into the Pilot it went ready for its makeover.  I decided to paint it my favorite color white!  When I finished it looked very BLAH! So I antiqued it with an aqua color and wow it looked like a show girl from Vegas.  I decided to tone it down a bit with gray and I think it turned out great.  It went from ugly GOLD to Shabby Chic! It will be for sale at our new shop Geri's Antiques at 304 E. Baseline Rd. Lafayette, CO  80026

Sweethearts!

Today's post has me hoping that someday we have a little girl that we can put aprons on!  When I ask to put them on our little boy he runs in fear.  :)  These darling little aprons were done by the perfectionist herself: grandma!  She is an amazing seamstress, she made all our prom dresses, my wedding dress and all of my bridesmaids, flower girls, etc. She can do it all!  She made these little aprons that are trying to find their forever home with a little girl who loves to help in the kitchen!

Made of cotton and accessorized with 3 ruffles 2 of which are a different fabric pattern to make it unique. There is also a small pocket that is adorned with a vintage piece of lace. Adjustable ties on neck and back.

Measurements: 18" from bib to bottom ruffle.
17" wide
20" back ties (40" ties together)

 Thanks for looking!

Little Ugly Table all Made Over

I loved this table when I saw it, curved legs and a cute handle.  However it needed some love.  It was a deep cherry color and the handle was brass.  I went to my paint stash and found Organic Field which is a pale green similar to celery.  I distressed it and antiqued it will light gray and painted the handle gray.  I knew she could be beautiful!

Charmed, I'm Sure

In addition to all the home decor items we refinish and sell we also have added a line of Charms/Necklaces.  The charms come with a lobster clasp that can be hooked to a necklace, a key chain, a zipper, or to your favorite purse or jacket. All charms are hand soldered so no two charms are exactly the same.

Every girl, woman, mother, wife, daughter, sister, grandma, etc. should be charmed. Who doesn't love BLING in their life? I know I do… and I love that I can buy individual charms that are meaningful to me.

I constantly get compliments on how unique my necklace is! All charms can be customized to your liking.

If you are in the Denver area come check them out at Rustic Ranch off of Wadsworth in Broomfield, CO or email me and we can set up a fun at home show!

If you are not located in the Denver Metro area, I would be more than happy to work with you on getting a charm/necklace.

Cheers to Being Charmed!
