Sweet William Market=Success

On Saturday we had a space at Sweet William Market at Stapleton.  We were so nervous that we didn't have enough to sell but in the end we were just fine.  We were very happy with how the market went and our great success.  We can't wait to do another one!  We are so blessed with the great customers we have and the new ones that we just met this weekend!  Here are a few pictures of the beginning of the day (which started at 5:30), our space and then one towards the end when we were a little wiped out!

It was a long week of preparation, but in the end we rocked it out.  We definitely couldn't have done it with out my hubby, my little boy, my aunt and Kate!  Thanks to everyone who helped us out.  Happy Sunday & Happy Memorial Day.

Beautiful in Blue

Last Friday my family and I went to an estate sale and I found this dresser.  Of course I forgot a before picture.  I start sanding, painting and then realized I spaced it!  I am going to train myself to get better about that!  The dresser had some minor problems, the doors stuck, didn't glide so my hubby fixed all the problems and I think it looks amazing! NO you aren't seeing things it doesn't have knobs yet because oh grandma is saving the day and getting those for me today.  It will be for sale at Sweet William Market at Stapleton if you are in the Denver area come check it out!  Saturday May 28th from 9-2p.m.

Enjoy your Friday!

Achievement, Chaos, Paint & Luck

Although this post has nothing to do with Willow Creek, I thought I would share a little bit about what I am up to in the upcoming weeks!  :)

Achievement because this week my lil sisters graduates with a 3.6 gpa and with 45 college credits.   :(  I am so sad she is growing up but blessed that I have been able to share so many memories with her.  She is off to college in Greeley which I am very excited about since she will only be 45 minutes away.

Her and I are eleven years apart which was a huge difference growing up but these days we are so close and I absolutely love it.  We can look at each other and laugh about nothing which still annoys my mom but there are days we can have a serious talk about life.  She is truly an amazing person and has great things in store for her, I just know it!
Love ya Whit!

One of her senior pics.  Isn't she gorgeous?!?!?
Chaos because this is how the week goes: Friday & Saturday state track here in Denver.  Oh and I forgot to mention she is an amazing athlete who received the Senior Athletic Award.  Saturday night after the track meet we are off to my parents house 3 hours away to get ready for graduation and her party!  It is going to be very crazy but so much fun!

Paint because I have millions of things to paint!
Next week it is on to get tons of projects completed for Sweet William.  I am SO NERVOUS & COMPLETELY FREAKING OUT!  I don't know if I have enough time to get everything finished.

Wish me Luck because I am going to need it!

I have a few projects completed that I will share tomorrow.  Also I am putting together a few shabby chic items for her graduation party so check back!

HAPPY TUESDAY. :)

Secretary Writing Desk

Friday I was scouring craigslist and found this beauty!  I knew it would be perfect for a small spot by my kitchen.  I have been on the hunt for months for the perfect skinny lil something and I am so glad my hunt is over!  It is only 12 inches deep and that is what I need.  I was so relieved when the lady responded and said it was mine.  I emailed the hubby directions and he went and picked it up!  I can't wait to finish it this week and get it in its new spot!  Best part of all I paid $45!

I hope everyone has a great Monday!  :)

I am Back

I have been horrible about blogging but guess what? I am back!  I am determined to stay focused and BLOG because I absolutely love doing it!

We are attending Sweet William Market, our first outside spring/summer market on May 28th.  I am so excited and a little nervous.  I started working on a few things this week and have so much more to do.

The Clock was stained just your boring oak color.  I painted it a mixture of Green/Aqua and then distressed in chocolate.
This A was cream but I wanted it to have a little color so I painted it a very soft aqua and distressed in chocolate.
Everyone have a great Saturday!

Come by tomorrow, my hubby picked up an awesome secretary desk for me!
