Weekend Project

We had family in town this weekend but I did find some time to work on a dresser for our next market.  This is actually a miracle because I normally procrastinate until the week before.  I guess I realized it is better to enjoy the process than to stress out about it.  :)  I had painted one similar to this one and it went fast.  I figured I would do another one like but I went a little more aqua on that one.

Also, remember the secretary I got a while back.  We finally finished it.  The door to the secretary broke and so we are actually going to re purpose it into a sign.  I like the way it turned out minus the 4 year old shoes.  :)

How was your weekend?  Did you work on any projects?

Craiglist Addiction

I know us junkers/pickers/bargainers are absolutely obsessed with Craigslist.  I think it is an addiction for me honestly, I may need help!  I do not need anything but I still scour the ads daily and if you saw me and grandmas storage shed you would say you probably have it in there!  However, ya know when you are in this to make a little bit of money you have to look for awesome pieces at amazing prices.  I want my pieces to be affordable and therefore it is a must to find deals.  I have been on the hunt for a dresser like this one and I have a client was looking for a drop leaf table.  Guess what I found today..............
Mr Wonderful is on his way to pick it up as we speak.  I love having a husband who helps me!
What do you think of my two new finds?

S.W. Market Success

Sweet William is every last Saturday of the month.  Here are a few things we had in this one.  If you live in the Denver Metro Area you must check this market out!  It is so much fun and they have so many cool things.  We sold out of all of our big furniture, it was nice to load them up in the truck rather than the big moving truck.  We definitely called our day a SWEET WILLIAM SUCCESS!  :)
Enjoy!
Happy Monday! :)

Where have you been, MRS. MIA

Well Mrs. Mia has been a busy bee remodeling a kitchen and a backyard all at the same time.  Funny thing is this remodel took up almost all our time and we had a contractor do the kitchen.  All we did was take out the cabinets.  We had a kitchen flood a few months ago.  We decided instead of fixing the things we disliked the same way we would do it the way we wanted .  So we have been busy turning our kitchen from ugly to AH-MAZING!  I look at it from our family room and still feel like I am dreaming. PINCH ME!  :)
After (only need our backsplash)
We are so happy with the outcome and love being in the new space.
