A CHIC MIRROR

1/2 Before
I was on an outing to one of my favorite thrift stores and I saw this mirror that I knew could be great!  Into the Pilot it went ready for its makeover.  I decided to paint it my favorite color white!  When I finished it looked very BLAH! So I antiqued it with an aqua color and wow it looked like a show girl from Vegas.  I decided to tone it down a bit with gray and I think it turned out great.  It went from ugly GOLD to Shabby Chic! It will be for sale at our new shop Geri's Antiques at 304 E. Baseline Rd. Lafayette, CO  80026

  1. Hello, I have the pleasure of being your linky neighbor over at The Shabby Nest! How pretty your mirror turned out. My husband just bought a gold mirror for me, we're still debating where to put it, but our plans are to paint it too, the details in yours is just amazing, and such a pretty blog! xoxo tami
