My husband put the top on it, fixed the broken door and then added the chicken wire to the doors, and fixed the bottom door. The side of the cupboard was broken and chipped so he had to fix that too.
Fixed doors and chicken wire! We sanded and then put a coat of Annie Sloan Old white and Old Ochre. I love the progress.
Heck, I love the outcome!!! What do ya think? I think it turned out pretty darn cute and I am so glad it's in my house! :)

So cool. I just found a similar pie safe at a yardsale. The right door was broken pretty badly. I fixed it all and it now resides in my home. I just poisted it on my blog. Check it out!!
