When I saw this top piece from an old crate, I knew it would make a gorgeous sign. I had my hubby drill some holes and then I threaded a thick piece of off white frayed burlap for its hanger.
I love the way the knots look! Isn't burlap such an awesome fabric? It can be used for so many things. This week we will be sharing our coasters we made with burlap coffee sacks!
I hope everyone is having an amazing week!

You know Ericka in my laundry room I have several crate ends hanging in no particular fashion on the wall. They have been there for 18 years. They never looked quite right, sort of like I just nailed them there (duh I did!). I think adding a burlap hanger might be just what they need. Yours looks like it was meant to be hung on the wall.

Calling it "picking" really classes up the old garage sale-ing trip! Maybe if I asked my family to go picking with me they wouldn't all hide from me when I go out on Friday and Saturday? Oh well...love your sign and your blog.
